Ancestral Interactions, a two project edition, reevaluates the definition of performance through photographic mediums with given consideration to privately performed rituals. The element of time remains present in the incremental imagery of continuous actions, the repetitive process of developing and printing film, and the physical experience of the length of the installations. Private space is preserved through the cropping and printing of imagery; questioning the viewers place in the work.
